Scalloped Corn

I'm not sure if scalloped corn is on your menu or not at Thanksgiving, and we always have homemade cream corn here, but I found this recipe and thought I would post it. I will be posting Turkey recipes soon, but I wanted to make sure I didn't miss any other food that might be eaten on Thanksgiving....If you usually eat something that I haven't posted a recipe for, let me know and I will find a crock pot recipe for it...or at least try to...Hugs...

Scalloped Corn

  • 2/3 cup flour
  • 1/3 cup butter, melted
  • 4 eggs (you can use egg substitute if you want)
  • 3/4 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 14 oz. can cream-style corn
  • 2 cups frozen corn, thawed and drained
  • 1 tsp. dried thyme leaves

Direction:

Spray crockpot with cooking spray. Mix first 7 ingredients in medium bowl. Put both types of corn in crockpot, pour mixture over corn and stir to mix. Cover and cook on HIGH for 2-3 hours until set.

Happy Slow Cooking!! Enjoy and Hugs...

This sounds great! I just try not to think about how much butter goes into the entire Thanksgiving dinner... :)
