We love sloppy joes in our house. You can be messy and no one says a thing. To me sloppy joes are like pizza...pick 'em up, take a big bite and let what falls down your chin fall...grin...
This recipe doesn't make a mess while cooking, but it is still good...
No Sloppy Joes
1 pound hamburger
1 (8 oz) block of velveeta cheese
1/2 cup mustard
1/2 cup ketchup
1 small onion (about 1/4 cup chopped)
Hamburger buns
Fry burger until brown in skillet and drain. Put burger in crockpot and add mustard and ketchup, mixing well. Cut velveeta into cubes and stir into the crock pot mix. Cook on LOW 3-4 hours (HIGH 1 1/2-2 hours). Stirring the last half hour to make sure the cheese is melted. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Spoon onto buns...
Happy Slow Cooking! Enjoy and Hugs...

My husband's uncle makes these just like this! They are soooooooo good! (Though he's from Iowa so he calls them Made Rites!)
Sounds good!
Yum! I love sloppy joes. Probably one of few things I never make from scratch. I always go for the can of Manwich, but your recipe sounds just as easy, so I might have to give it a try!
